1. Micro-Influencers

A micro influencer is someone with a follower range of 1,500 followers up until about 10,000 followers on a particular social media channel. These micro influencers usually have a niche in which they participate.

For example:

A foodie who visits local restaurants and posts photos of the food.

Or

A technology niche where they post pictures of the latest tech and give their honest options on products. Also known as a "techie" to the social media world.

Micro-Influencers exist in every niche. Start with connecting with local bloggers who share similar audiences as your company. Below are few links to help you search for micro-influencers in your target market.

The Golden Circle Explained

Tell a good story

I'll use Apple as an example. Apple has executed the strategy perfectly by using what's called The Golden Apple Storytelling Technique. Apple does this by following "The Golden Circle Strategy" outlined by leadership management expert Simon Sinek.

The storytelling strategy calls for defining:

Why

  • Why does your organization exist?
  • And why should anyone care?

How

  • How your company fulfills its core belief.

What

  • What’s our purpose?
  • What’s your core belief?
  • What it does to fulfill its core belief.

Can you answer these questions about your company?

Mastering some of these key principles will help you along your journey.

Good luck! :)
